This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Site, purchase artwork or licences, subscribe to our mailing list, or otherwise interact with us.

We aim to handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Even though many small businesses are exempt from Australian Privacy Principles, we aim to handle personal information in a way that is consistent with the APPs as a matter of good practice.

  • Payment information: billing details and transaction data (processed securely by third-party payment providers; we do not store full card details)

  • Business name : For business branding and merchandise licensing clients

  • Reference photos and branding details : Design brief and reference images

2. How We Use Your Information

We use Squarespace’s built in analytics tools to understand how visitors use our site.

Payment details are processed directly by secure third-party providers and are not stored by MiraFeld.

While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information

  • request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal obligations)

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.

For example, we generally retain:

  • order and transaction records for at least 7 years (for tax and accounting purposes)

  • marketing contact details until you unsubscribe

  • analytics data for a limited period, after which it is deleted or anonymised

  • once data is no longer needed it is deleted or de-identified.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our site is intended for adults. If you are under 18, you should only use the Site with the involvement of a parent or guardian, and you should not provide us with any personal information without there consent.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

If you access our Site from outside Australia, your information may be processed in Australia or in other countries where our service providers (such as Squarespace and Square) operate.
