Licensing & Usage
MiraFeld is an artist‑owned studio. Instead of selling artwork “outright”, we license our designs so you know exactly how you can use them – whether it’s for yourself, your brand, or products for sale. All licences are worldwide and tailored to protect you and the artwork.
How Licensing Works
Learn the big picture of how MiraFeld licensing operates – what “exclusive” means, the difference between usage rights and copyright ownership, and how to choose the right licence type for your project.
Licence Comparison
See a side‑by‑side comparison of our three main licence types (Personal, Business, Merchandise) plus how originals and prints are treated, so you can quickly check which option fits your plans.
Exclusive Business Usage Licence
For businesses and brands who want to use an artwork as part of their visual identity (such as logos, websites, social media, stationery, packaging, and signage), but not on products for resale.
Exclusive Personal Usage Licence
For individuals who want a design or physical original artwork for themselves only (for example tattoos, personal décor, or one‑off personal items) with no business or merchandise use.
Exclusive Merchandise Usage Licence
For businesses producing and selling products that feature a MiraFeld artwork, with clear production limits, approved product types and sales channels, and optional branding rights if agreed.
Non-Exclusive Personal Use Licence
For standard MiraFeld prints, allowing you to display the physical print for personal, non‑commercial use, while the same artwork may also be sold to other customers.
